I’m Tianli Zeng. I work with water, code and ideas — and enjoy turning what I learn into things people can use.

BACKGROUND

Where I’m coming from

AI application and agent engineering practitioner with project delivery experience at a provincial water-engineering design institute. MSc in Hydraulic Engineering, Zhejiang University. My work spans domain modelling, Python engineering and software deployment, including a personal harness for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, with shared skills, tool integration and quality checks, plus Web and Apple-native applications.

Research

2024.10 – present

Digital twin of the Zhedong Water Diversion Project

Core engineer

Allocation and water-quality safety on a cross-basin diversion need accurate mid-term situation forecasts.

Rainfall characterisation with an LSTM forecaster, a multi-source data-fusion architecture, and a visual decision-support system.

Completed rainfall analysis and forecasting-model development, producing related research outputs.

2026.06 – present

Reverse-engineering and rewriting a scheduling system

Solo

The receiving-area scheduler survived only as an exe; 62 years of daily supply-demand balance across 5 areas could not be maintained.

Decompiled the C# to recover the algorithm, ported it line-by-line to Python with regression reconciliation, and refactored into one engine with two scheme modes.

Recovered the algorithm and rebuilt the Python scheduler, using original-output comparisons and daily water-balance checks.

2025 – present

Cross-Platform Agent Engineering Harness (Claude Code / Codex)

Independent design & development

A personal engineering harness for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, sharing rules, skills and tools while adapting execution entry points and checks to each platform.

Derive platform entry points from shared rules, skills and tools; adapt tool interfaces and session lifecycles.

Shared skills and engineering procedures are reused across Claude Code and Codex for everyday development and delivery.

Ask Claude desktop application using the engineering workflow
